Gear Review: Sea to Summit TravellingLight Travel Accessories

Sea to Summit TravellingLight Line
Travelling is a stressful venture at the best of times, but traveling with adventure gear can be even more challenging. Sea to Summit has designed a number of useful items in their TravellingLight line that makes organization a snap as well as keeping dirty items away from clean items.

Sea to Summit's TravellingLight line features a ton of useful items geared for the traveler and the adventure traveler. The items in the line are all quite light making them worth their weight. The line is about storage and travel. Many of the items are geared for storage while others are geared for carrying items. The smaller storage items include clear zip top pouches, see through pouches, padded pouches storage sacks like dry sacks and stuff sacks. They have different wallets for the neck, documents, and money belts. Organizational items include toiletry bags, laundry bags, shoe bags and mesh garment bags. They also have shopping bags, day packs, sling bags and duffels that pack down really small. Other little nice items are shirt folders, eye shades, micro towels, travel pillows and sun hats.

I received the toiletry cell, shopping bag and padded pouch. The padded pouch is the medium pouch and is made of neoprene. The medium pouch is a pretty versatile size in that I could fit in my digital camera or the video camera comfortably. It is a great size for most medium sized electronics. The neoprene offers a nice layer of padding and protection to the contents of the pouch.

The toiletry cell is the large size and has a large main compartment with three small mesh pockets inside for additional organization. The lid opens up pretty wide allowing good interior access to the main compartment as well as access to the smaller interior pockets. It is made from Ultra-Sil material offering water-resistance while being light and strong. The large size is plenty long enough in length to hold a toothbrush. I have used it backpacking and it was great for organizing my toiletry items in one locations as well as keeping all my night time needs together. I also stored my pillow, and down socks in the toiletry cell as well as my first aid kit with medications.  What was really great was no matter how full or empty I had the Toiletry Cell, I could cram it into a small space and it would mold to the space.

The shopping bag only comes in one size but it is quite large and generous. It is deceptive in size and packs down really small. It is really easy to toss this into a suitcase or purse and always have it handy for carrying items. I used the shopping bag to carry around three bladders full of water in preparation for a backpacking trip and the back held up to it superbly.

When it comes to organizing and travel needs, the TravellingLight line from Sea to Summit is a well thought out line for the adventure traveler’s needs. They have something to accommodate everyone's needs for where ever their adventures take them.
